在留外国人のうち、「5年以上日本で働きたい人」が61%に低下

マイナビグループでで外国人材の紹介などを手がけるマイナビグローバル（東京・千代田）は7日、「在留外国人の日本での就労意欲調査」の結果を発表した。「5年以上、日本で働きたい」とした割合は61.6%で前年比14.7%少なかった。

日本に住む外国人を対象に1〜2月にインターネットで調査した。日本語学校などで対象者を探し、1732人から回答を得た。

今後日本で働きたい期間について聞いたところ、「2〜5年」とした人が34.2%で前年調査に比べて12.7%増えた。「1年以内に帰国したい」は4.2%でわずかに増えた。同社は「円安や母国の賃金上昇にのため帰国したい人が増えている」と分析する。

「5年以上、働きたい」とした割合を出身国別に見ると、ベトナムが前年比18.4%減の63.3%で、最大の減少率だった。インドネシアは10.9%減の68.5%だった。一方で、ミャンマー（6.4%増の82.5%）やネパール（4.7%増の88.7%）は増加した。

出身国を除く日本以外の国で働く意欲について聞いたところ、「（他国で）働いてみたい」とした人は56.2%だった。「（他国で働くことに）興味はある」は27.5%、「（他国では）働きたくない」は16.3%だった。

関心がある国を聞いたところ、韓国が16.5%で最多だった。理由は「文化が好き（31.4%）」や「日本より給料が高い（28.4%）」が多かった。オーストラリア（13.6%）が次いで多く、中国（10.7%）が続いた。

Among Foreign Residents in Japan, the Percentage Who Want to “Work in Japan for 5 Years or More” Drops to 61%

Mynavi Global (Chiyoda, Tokyo), a Mynavi Group company that handles the placement of foreign talent, announced the results of its “Survey on the Motivation of Foreign Residents to Work in Japan” on the 7th. The percentage of respondents who said they “want to work in Japan for 5 years or more” was 61.6%, down 14.7 percentage points from the previous year.

The survey was conducted online from January to February among foreign residents in Japan. Respondents were recruited through Japanese language schools and other channels, and 1,732 people responded.

When asked about the length of time they wished to continue working in Japan, 34.2% responded “2 to 5 years,” an increase of 12.7 percentage points compared to the previous year’s survey. The percentage of those who said they “wish to return home within one year” rose slightly to 4.2%. The company analyzed that “the number of people wishing to return home is increasing due to the weak yen and rising wages in their home countries.”

Looking at the percentage of respondents who said they “want to work for 5 years or more” by country of origin, Vietnam saw the largest decline, at 63.3%—down 18.4% from the previous year. Indonesia saw a 10.9% decrease to 68.5%. On the other hand, Myanmar (up 6.4% to 82.5%) and Nepal (up 4.7% to 88.7%) saw increases.

When asked about their willingness to work in countries other than Japan (excluding their country of origin), 56.2% said they “would like to try working (in another country).” 27.5% said they were “interested (in working in another country),” while 16.3% said they “do not want to work (in another country).”

When asked which countries they were interested in, South Korea was the most popular choice at 16.5%. The most common reasons cited were “I like the culture” (31.4%) and “Salaries are higher than in Japan” (28.4%). Australia (13.6%) was the next most popular choice, followed by China (10.7%).

关于今后希望在日本工作的时长，选择“2至5年”的人占34.2%，较上年调查增加了12.7%。选择“希望在1年内回国”的人占4.2%，略有增加。该公司分析称：“受日元贬值及母国工资上涨的影响，希望回国的人正在增加。”

按原籍国划分，“希望工作5年以上”的比例方面，越南同比下降18.4%至63.3%，降幅最大。印度尼西亚下降10.9%至68.5%。另一方面，缅甸（增长6.4%至82.5%）和尼泊尔（增长4.7%至88.7%）则有所上升。

当被问及除日本以外的国家的工作意愿时，表示“想在（其他国家）工作”的人占56.2%；表示“对（在其他国家工作）感兴趣”的占27.5%；表示“不想在（其他国家）工作”的占16.3%。
