自民党の外国人政策本部が日本国籍の取得の厳格化提言案とりまとめ　

自民党は1月20日、外国人政策本部の会合を開き、日本国籍の取得を厳格化する提言案をまとめた。

提言案では、日本国籍を取得する「帰化」に必要な居住期間を、いまの「5年以上」から「原則10年以上」に厳格化することが検討される。

また、日本の文化やルールに対する理解を深めるため、日本語や日本の制度を学習するプログラムを創設し、在留審査に活用することも検討される。

政府は党の提言を受けて、外国人政策に関する基本方針をとりまとめることにしていて、来月おこなわれる衆議院選挙の自民党の公約にも盛り込まれる見通しです。

LDP Foreign Policy Headquarters Compiles Proposal to Tighten Japanese Nationality Acquisition Requirements

The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) held a meeting of its Foreign Policy Headquarters on January 20 and compiled a proposal to tighten the requirements for acquiring Japanese nationality.

The proposal considers tightening the required period of residence for “naturalization” to acquire Japanese nationality from the current “five years or more” to “ten years or more in principle.”

It also proposes creating programs for learning Japanese language and systems to deepen understanding of Japanese culture and rules, and utilizing these in residency screening.

The government plans to compile basic policies on foreigner policy based on the party's proposals. These are expected to be included in the LDP's platform for next month's House of Representatives election.

自民党于1月20日召开外国人政策本部会议，汇总了严化日本国籍取得的建议方案。该方案拟将取得日本国籍所需的“归化”居住期限，从现行的“5年以上”严格调整为“原则上10年以上”。

此外，为深化对日本文化及规则的理解，拟设立日语及日本制度学习项目，并将其纳入居留审查体系。

政府将根据该党建议制定外国人政策基本方针，预计该方针将纳入下月众议院选举的自民党竞选纲领。
